Summary of the 6th final event of the project titled European Network for Social Integration Entrepreneurship: social inclusion and development of rural regions for a better European future - ENSIE

On the first day it was all about  arrival and accommodation of guests  in hotel Bodrog (Sárospatak, Hungary). Those partners who took a flight to Hungary, were picked up at the Liszt Ferenc National Airport and also at the airport in Debrecen.

A welcome dinner was held in the hotel’s restaurant where the representatives of Municipality of Nagyrozvágy greeted the guests. The Hungarian partner introduced the programme of the following two days.   

On Wednesday the guests were taken from the hotel to Nagyrozvágy by bus, where a visit of the sewing factory of local social cooperative Rozvágy-Text Socal Cooperative, and livestock farm of the Municipality was taken. During the tour partners got a chance to experience the operation of social cooperatives as well as municipalities, especially their public work programmes. After lunch a professional conference was held on the topic of social economy in Hungary, where several professionals gave a lecture. Richárd Hörcsik, Ph.D, Parliamentarian of Zemplén region and Orsolya Hogya, Mayor of Nagyrozvágy welcome the guests, who were not only the partner organizations, but also people form the region interested in social entrepreneurship. Attila Stumpf, Executive of District Office gave a presentation on the topic of employment situation, tools of fighting against unemployment, especially public work in the Bodrogköz region, which was followed by the lecture of Andrásné Lehel, Ministry of Interior, Social Cooperatives Program Coordination Office focusing on continuation of value-creating START public work programmes in social cooperatives. Finally Orsolya Hogya, Executive of Rozvágy-Text Social Cooperative shared the experiences of Rozvágy-Text Social Cooperative.

In the second part of the conference the project partners introduced their organization, its activities putting the emphasis the social aspect of operation. The event was closed with a gala dinner, where traditional Hungarian folklore was introduced by the Bodrogköz Gipsy Band and the Cornflower Folk Dance Group.

On the third day of the event a workshop took place among project partners. The main topics were discussing project conclusion, discussing project documentation, approval form and content of common publication “Social Integration Enterprises in Europe”, approval of dissemination plan for each partner countries, editing publication guide for the wider public considering possibilities of social employment and aspects of social economy, and  further possibilities of cooperation. The programme was closed with a guided tour and a renaissance dinner at the Castle of Sárospatak.

On Friday the guests were transported to the airports by the hosts, and each partner travelled back home.
